You walk around in a daze,
Just trying to forget.
Your eyes look slightly glazed,
As if you're not really there.
Why do you feel this,
This cruel and hated pain?
You were supposed to be his,
But then he broke your heart.
He claimed to truly love you,
But then he did that thing.
You found his love wasn't true,
Now all you feel is pain.
Yet you just keep on moving on,
You've learned how to hide it.
Act like the pain is gone,
Don't give him a second thought.
We know how to be strong,
For you and I are survivors.
What he did was very wrong,
And you deserve so much better.
