Roxanne... She was never meant to be a character who other characters liked. Roxanne is a Tales of Symphonia OC.
Roxanne was my second OC for ToS. She is Kayla's twin sister, and has a huge crush on Kratos, however this is INTENDED to be one-sided, irratating fan-girl, love. In other words, nothing is meant to come of it.
Roxanne konnemara was brought up in her parents library, but takes after her mother in that she has no real love of books or reading. She steals and modifies a line of Zinny Wormwood from Matilda, saying to her sister;
"Look Kayla, you chose books, I chose looks, I'm the most popular girl in Hima, I get good marks in school, I have a boyfriend..." Yes, Roxanne is truly stupid enough to believe her affections are returned. You would think your so-called boyfriend continuosly telling you to, um... 'buzz' off and leave him alone would make an impression, but...
Roxanne fights using a hammer, with which she frequently heaps abuse upon her younger twin sister, Kayla.
Roxanne was born 2000 years before the main events of Tales of Symphonia. In this time, Hima was a thriving city, far enough from any ranch to grow undisturbed. The fourth chosen of Sylvarant (Colette was the seventh) was born in Hima at this time, and the only thing that the Konnemara twins (Roxanne and Kayla) had in common, was a close friendship with the chosen. When the time for her journey of regeneration came around, she insisted on her two friends coing along, so she's partially responsible for Roxanne getting to know (And getting a huge crush on) Kratos.
When the final seal was released, a battle, with the chosen and the Konnemara Twins on one side and Cruxis on the other, ensued. The girls lost the battle, however the Chosen's Cruxis Crystal became separated from her body, and was caught by Kayla Konnemara, as her sister, Roxanne reached out, grabbed the hand she'd gripped the Cruxis Crystal in, trying to drag her away. As such both sisters had their souls asorbed into the seed of the Kharlan Tree. They get released from the seed when Mithos attempts to remove Derris Kharlan from Symphonia's gravitational field.
Roxanne is currently separated from her sister. Despite the constant agitation she causes her, Roxanne is actually quite fond of Kayla, and taking care of her in her own unique way. It could be one of her few positive qualities that, despite being betrayed by him, she still loves Kratos... However she won't grow as a person until she moves on, so I doubt she will ever really mature...
Incidentaly, Roxanne did well at school in most subjects by copying her sisters work. On her own intelligence, she can't even spell "Hammer" despite being 16.
If nothing else, Roxanne is athletic. Her attacks have very little power and most of her techniques are rubbish, but she is very fast and accurate, which is unusual in a hammer-weilder.
Whn she debuted, Roxanne had waist-length, wavy, blond hair, and pink, traditional 'TART' clothes, and blue eyes. After being released from the seed she cuts her hair to just above her shoulders, and changes her outfit. Heh... If I can upload them, I may start including links to pictures of the characters in these profiles.
