School drama. Yes, the best kind of news there is. First off, this all started with my idea of going to Homecoming with all my friends. I mention it at lunch two days ago to the whole table and the guys' responses were, "Oh, it's too hot! It's all grinding and you get all sweaty! It is SUCH a waste of time to go to dances. All you do is stand there! It's so expensive. We don't want to go!." So I mention it to the girls and their responses were, "Sure, let's just go without the guys. It'll be more fun anyway." So the girls agree to stag. HOWEVER, the next morning (this morning), I notice one of my closest guy friends with flowers, a large cake, and jumbo sign to ask a girl out the Homecoming. The first thought that popped into my head and my other girlfriends' head was, "What the ********?? What happened to NOT wanting to go at all?" Thus, began my friends' and I's plan of revenge. We know that since only of my guy friends is going with a girl and never hang out, he's bound to ask us to join him to make him feel not awkward. So we girls decided to go stag anyway and ignore them completely at the dance. We KNOW that he's going to want to join us because he doesn't want to feel left out, but hey, who made who feel left out? Yeah, didn't think so. In the end, we planned to go with just us and dance the night away without him. And our other guy friend whom refused to go the dance just like the other guy, gives off a little vibe that he is going to ask someone out too. Wow, come on! If you want to go to the dance with someone, just tell it to our face and don't lie to us. It makes no sense to do that. Yeah yeah, so what if I feel a little jealous that I'm not going to be asked to homecoming this year. It's not the end of the world for me.
