As i watch the darkness flow from my heart,
And watch it transform into a heartless,
emotionless being, i begin to wonder,
"Is that really me?" "Is that my true form?"
And then i stop, and realize, that it doesn't have to be,
Because i am my own person,
And you help me, keep this thing inside of me,
I thank you, for you are my light.
As i watch the hate, gush out of the fresh wounds,
And take it's true form,
i ask it, "Why must you always torment me?"
"Why?" but then i stop, and realize, that this entity,
doesn't have to reside within me.
I thank you, for showering me with your love.
As i watch death, flow from my being,
and stand there, and watch it destroy all,
i yell upon the heavens, "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?"
"WHY?"
And then a shower of life and light, your light, you love,
comes raining down on this life form, which once resided in me,
And watch as it dies.
Then, I thank you, for blessing me with your hope.
