	Goodbye Maple
	Goodbye Maple


My hen, Maple, passed away suddenly today. She showed no signs of illness, and hopefully went in peace. She raised three fine chicks into adult-hood. Their names are Syrup, Butter, and Skunk. She was a docile hen who never stirred up trouble. She got her name from a leaf-shaped mark on her head. She was 5 years old when she passed. May she rest in peace.
