I want to be your friend
To make amends
for us to see eye to eye
know that i see right threw your lies

I want you to know that i'm not your foe
And i'm going to take every blow
Every attack
I won't flench at the whips crack

I won't be contrite
When you deside to fight
I dont want you to feel sore
When you find that i've already won the war

I finished this long ago
As people like you stood on the plateau
I hung there bleeding
On my pain they were feeding

I wanted to be saved,
I tried to be brave
When there was the first wail
i ripped the veil

I want to be friends
To make amends
And to be your sword
To see your soul restored
