1. You don't need to understand why something is important to a girl. You just need to understand that it is.

2. If you know you did wrong, apologize. We're your girlfriends; your pride means nothing to us.

3. When she's bored or lonely, don't wait for her to ask to hang out; start driving to her house. If you can't, tell her how much you wish you could.

4. NEVER tell her that she couldn't possibly understand you. She probably understands you more than yourself.

5. Talking about other girls in an awed way is a big no-no. Even if the girl is your friend, we don't like to hear how absolutely amazing she is.

6. We don't go to your hockey games or swim meets because we like to. So come to our dance recitals or choir concerts.

7. Flowers are always nice. They show you're not embarrassed to get them. A great make-up present after a huge fight.

8. In the middle of a fight, fix it before moving on to something else. Don't start talking about how a friend needs help with something.

9. Compliments are great, unless they are overused. Of course we like hearing we're beautiful. But say it so much, and we'll stop feeling like we are.

10. Never, ever, ever, ever tell a girl she is fat. Yes, saying a girl is heavy is implying the same thing.
