FOREVER WILL MEND

My friends can't give
They only recieve
Family doesn't try
They alwayse leave

I ran to them
And they looked away
I cried to them
But they were afraid

I looked to the moon
I looked to the stars
I looked to myself
To cover the scars

How was it, I thought
Back in the day
That I could have lived
So happy and gay?

Naive I was
Naive I knew
It was the reason
I ne'er was blue

How is it then
When almost dead
I was brought back
With a turn of the head

A smile you showed me
As sweet as I've seen
A reviving look
That made my world keen

The smile I see
When I look your way
Brings me back
From the every-day

Where do I look then
When I'm all alone?
Into memory?
Into past's known?

Months have passed
Almost a year
And I'm sad to say
I have shed tears

You did not bring them
They're not all caused by you
You bring me happiness
That there is true

Vicious memorys
Of biting cold
Bring me back
To the not so old

Lonely days
and lonely nights
Tear me down
From the highest of heights

I bring it on me
It is all my fault
I've paid so much
for this time unbought

Why am I sad?
Why am I blue?
When I could smile

I've been told many things
Throuought my life
But it's still for happieness

That my quest's grail
Sit's before me?

Distracted by the hunt
Turned around by the chase
I fale to see the joy
In our every day

My mind is a fog
A blur's what I see
When I look around
To find the three

My eyes are misted
As rain falls from them
They fall to earth
Where all is dead

My expresion is shady
Dark's what they know
For all of those
Who walk in toe

My demeanor is distant
As far as the sky
They reach for me
As I drift by
