I am the dark one...
gazing down at the world
sitting upon my perch.
Waiting for my chains to be lifted.
This is my night...our night.
I sit wrapped in darkness
swimming in pain
listening to blood as it spills.
My fangs grow sharp,
my eyes glow red
hungering for life...for blood.
The night weighs heavy as you approach...
and I descend.
Your screams empower me...
your blood feeds me.
I pull you closer and plunge my fangs
into the delicate and alluring flesh that
is your neck and you scream even louder.
Your body goes rigid and limp and I know
there is another that has been created
for this is the night of
Halloween....
