A stairway, a lone stairway
Why does it sit in the middle of the room?
Maybe it leads to a place of salvation
or maybe...to a place of utter torture.
Heaven or Hell...
Do I make this decision?
I will climb these Stairs...I hope.
"Be brave, climb the Stairs."
Is that...the voice of God or Satian?
Do I decide?
Do these Stairs go up or down?
Do I decide?
I shall climb not knowing where I am going,
Up or Down, Heaven or Hell.
Thus I shall die either way...or maybe I'm already dead.
Do I decide, or does God decide?
I will trust my faith, for I wish to be in Heaven not Hell
or do I want to be in Hell?
I shall climb to the top, to the bottom.
Where do these Stairs go? "Be Brave."
The voice rings in my head...will I follow it?
Do I decide?
"No, I decide..."
