If you've ever been through the college applications process, you'll know why I've been absent from Gaia for so long. Besides the usual stress of senior year, I've got 5 schools--I'm one of the lucky ones--to apply for. One of my friends because she was positive she couldn't narrow her list down anymore, is applying for 12. I'm only applying for as many as I am beause I'm giving myself a few in-state safe schools. As I said, I'm very lucky.
But it sure does take up a lot of time. Sitting and typing in the same information for schools who don't accept the common application. I'm warning you now if you're going to college in the next few years. USE the common app!! It saves time. If your schools will accept it, that is. And search for scholarships. I know its a pain, but start NOW!! I have to apply for one every day that I'm absent homework. Just for the simple fact that I need money.
And you'll need money too. Unless you want to pull a full time job and school, you'll need scholarships. And I don't think any of us want to start a full time job and school right out of high school.
Speaking of...I'll prolly be doing that instead of my project tonight. Meh.
