Did you know alot of people are getting married today. The number 7 is a winning number in some games that involve gambling, so the people getting married think it will give them good luck.

I doubt I had much luck today because I was in the house for 6 hours doing school work which I thought I'd be done in 2. But I did get to see some cool stuff with my kid.

Pool lessons - he still struggles. He's different at our pool then there's.

But today he went on his first rides (at Charles Edward Cheese's). He looks bored. I think the fun for him is putting the token in to make it do something. The horse ride scared him and so did Bob the Builder. But Bob is pretty scarey. Seriously, that's one weird construction worker. I wouldn't let him baby sit, if you know what I mean.

And other firsts:
Tonight we saw him jump in the shallow end of our pool. Ethan didn't know how he did it. He tried to jump several times and he could never duplicate it.

And what else...
We do this head snuggle kind of thing. Almost a head butt. Like an eskimo kiss. He's not a kissy type of toddler (is that what a 16 mos old is called?), so this is quick affection without all the baggage.

And he was submerging himself into the water, so we'll probably start dunking him now. He's also getting better with his kicks.

Our new games:
When he looks serious I use a deep voice and say "soooo intense". He thought that was the funniest thing, I just was trying to be observant. ANd he also tried to repeat intense. He also copies me alot now which is fun.

And I do this fly thing with him to get his legs off me so he kicks in the water. WHen he curls his legs against me I lift him out of the water in a flying pose to straighten his legs out, bringing him back down straight and urging him to kick. He thinkgs thats great. Lots of cheap laughs tonight. I didn't have to put much work into it at all.

Tonight he is loving on his momma. So that's why I am in here, keeping it real on my sangaya account.
