I walk down this lonely street looking on at a stream of faith
that always seams to escape my grasp
And just being lost inside
the walls around me block the true person inside
Will they ever know who I truely am..?
Or will everyone always be blinded by a fake smile
Is it just that they choose not to see?
Or they need help finding me
I don't wish to be alone anymore
but I still haven't found that person
So I continue to walk on this sidewalk
like I do everyday praising the birds
that fly above me with free wings
I know that the day will come
When I will be able to connect with that stream of faith
that has always gotten distant from me
I know you'll be there this time
You'll be able to see that person inside
that the walls around me had always tried to hide
You'll be able to see the true person inside
and the fake smile that has always hid me inside won't fool you anymore
I wont' have to walk on this earth alone anymore
With you by my side I wont feel so empty
as I used to on those long starry nights
This stream of faith will have finally tide around my hand
and on the otherside of this stream
I know your standing there waiting for me
At least now I won't be alone anymore
Because I found the one person
that has found out who I truely am
