Well for those of you who actually bother to read my journal you'll have noticed that as usual I've lived up to my expectation of not bothering to update for a ridiculous number of days, I have the slight feeling that nobody reading this was actually affected either mentally or in the physical sense but for those who may have been, I apologise.
Okay so onto the purpose of this Journal outlining the things going on with my life. Predictably, when considered the fact that I have had exams lately and that my social life died long ago, not an awful lot has happened.
A particularly traumatic moment (which sadly seems to have happened a few times over the past week or so) was the exams in which I (and whoever happened to be in the exam room at the time) had to share the same air space with Vader. Now this particular Vader is somewhat different from everyones favourite StarWars baddie as she is in fact a woman, doesn't have a plastic head, isn't Luke's father (At least I don't think so) and doesn't have a cool lightsaber. The woman I'm describing by the way is our Exam Invigilator...I think thats what she is as I've been told that we don't have Exam Instigators or Invigilators.
Anyway despite not resembling Vader in appearance she does however breathe like Vader and has an unnatural need to time things to the precise second which is so frustrating when you've been sat in the same spot for two hours. I think if she wasn't so annoying she'd be quite funny...alright she is funny but she gets right on my nerves. I'm praying that Carol (which is her name as I've successfully clarified through hearing her ask the office staff down the phone quite loudly whether the students can in fact go to the toilet) doesn't sit in on my final two exams of Monday and Wednesday, both being a subject close to the great waste paper bin of my heart, English.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy english immensely but in all fairness double lessons with Barry Armitt (That's my teacher for those of you who don't know) and three hour long exams hardly make it my most favourite subject.
Event wise tomorrow marks the one week until my social life can finally pick itself up off the floor and get going. First of all theres the leavers party, next friday. For which I bought my suit today (which I'll mention in a momo as My graphics teacher would put it) then on the saturday its my good friend Liz's "The parents are away so lets get really drunk and play twister" house party. I'm really looking forward to that as its been a long time since I've had my friend Dayvid hurl drunken abuse at me. We have such a loving frienship as you can guess. We greet each other with "Hey b***h" and "Hey Slut!", Which I've never actually understood but we do anyway. Back to the subject. . .after that it's my birthday on the following friday so I do believe a few people are taking me to town to spend some money (Bad bad people.....Yay! Spending!) and then the next day (Saturday for those of you who don't know your days of the week) is my 18th birthday party which naturally looking forward too but I'm a bit apprehensive because:
a) I'm scared no one will turn up! and
b) I'll be meeting quite a few family members who I last saw when I was around three and finally,
c) I don't know what to wear or how to have my hair cut to look super cool on the night (Any tips on this would be appreciated by the way)
So as you know my social calender for the following two weeks I suppose I'll drone on for a bit longer about my suit. Two words sum up the purchasing of it, Absolute nightmare. First of all the tailor in one shop measure me wrong so I ended up trying on jackets much to big and being convinced that I was that size. And then when the size jacket I actually am was ascertained the shopman was trying to sell me jackets in blues and blacks when I'd specifically told him about four hundred times that I wanted dark grey. Well finally I've found one that both fits and in my view looks schmexy so all there is now is to find a suitable tie and shirt, the colour of which I'm still undecided on. I was thinking of going for a white shirt and one of those really cool skinny grey ties I've seen in topman but I don't know maybe a coloured shirt would work better. Opinions?
As for the shoe aspect of it I'm sorted as I have a rather fetching pair of back patent-type smart shoe which seem to want to break my neck when I'm walking on wooden floors. But I want to be all different and wear some cool converse! I probably wont because I dont have the money to buy them but ah well.
Alright so thats pretty much it for this entry, thanks for reading
