New Blood

Part 2

The room was dark when my eyes opened. My body felt like dead weight, but slowly my body was gaining some strength back. I just peered into that darkness, trying to just figure out what happened. All that I could remember was a vampire drinking my blood.
"That was some dream...."
"So it seems that you've awakened"
Fear sprang into my body as I heard that cold voice speak. I then realized that it was no dream, that was something that did happen.
"I thought you drank my blood, I thought that I would be dead."
"No my dear child," he chuckled while showing off his bloody mouth "that would be too much waste for you."
"What exactly do you mean?"
"You my child, have been transformed into a child of the night, into a vampire."
Mixed emotions soon filled my body.
"You turned me into some undead filth? Cursed to roam the streets because some street-rat vampire wanted some company? Is that it!"
He laughed at my immediate anger, I believed that he enjoyed it to a degree.
"I find it quite funny that you consider me a street-rat, when in reality, you're in front of one of the oldest and most powerful vampires to ever roam this Earth. Quite frankly, you should feel honored, since I'm more powerful than the King of Vampires."
I slowly began to move, getting to my feet and standing in front of this man. I began to examine my body, I noticed that even in pitch black, I could easily see as if it were day. My skin, was as pale as moonlight, and in my mouth, my tongue touch upon my sharp fangs. I had become one of them.
"I see that you're checking out your new body. You should consider yourself lucky to have been the chosen one."
"Well, what makes me any different from other vampires?"
"Well, you now have some of the strongest vampire blood coarsing through your veins, blood that has existed for over one-thousand years. You are my first fledgling, and will be my last."
"But why me?"
"I have chosen you to become my apprentice, to where you will one day take my place and I can finally take my eternal rest. I chose you because you have potential, and you have the personality needed for this. For you will soon become the next Blood God..."
