These days
When I first got here: making friends was easy.
We weren't quite at the age of the internet, and now that I've had my account reactivated (orangepricess), it's amazing how it's changed.

In 2004: there were no real games. It was essentially a map with all the buildings as links. Fishing was *sort of* in the works. There was still an art-gallery, most of it was forums. You could make an avi: but it would cost you an exorbitant amount of gold. your gold was accrued by surfing through pages. A little gold at a time.

and now? I can play an MMORPG. I can fish. I can spend real hard-earned human money to purchase the *next big thing* Everyone around now is so used to it being the way it IS. Not the way it was.

My clothes and my status in Zomg? Label me a total n00b (newb/nÜb/Nub: I got it, I'm lame)...

It's just bizarre how much things change. Even who/how I identified myself in 2004 doesn't even register on who I've become.

When I lost the account, before the email it was attached to just disappeared, I shoved everything over to this one: my items, my gold, everything I could figure out...and my friends? They haven't logged in since 2012 or prior

I mostly reinstated for nostalgic purposes. Posterity. Whatever you want to call it.
