Glittering eyes analyze me greedily
As the beast paces.
Simultaneously we prance and circle the other
Awaiting for the first to spring.
How tediously I have
Craved
For this moment,
Anxious to know when the next battle would ensue
Lithely, I dance with my adversary, flitting from side to side.
Still shadowed in the darkness,
Her eyes suddenly narrow in resolution.
We move together.
Perfect unity.
We are one in the same.
She is me in the most hideous of transformations.
Yellowed skin with dull grey eyes flare with lust.
Grimey greased filled hair is entangled about her oily face.
And behind that face
Is the mind of a malicious and deceitful demon.
This ghoulish twin is after my rationality.
My sanity is the prize.
Clawing at my face with her brutish hands, I struggle.
I'm brought to my knees from her devastating power and slithering ways.
I strike out, but to no avail.
I crumble to her overwhelming power.
But I will rise again.
I will defeat her.
