I believe I owe some graditude to a certain group of people. Without them, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Sure, that line is a bit trite, but it's the truth. They saved me from myself. They gave me confidence. They gave me excitement. They gave me happiness. They gave me so much more than I ever deserved, so I think it's time to do something for them. This is my way of thanking them and letting them know that I appreciate everything that they have done.

I am going to tell you their stories. Not their life stories, of course. Some will have significant moments in time, moments that changed their lives. Others may have just another story. My purpose isn't to tell you the moment their lives changed forever. No. My purpose is to reveal who these people are, their beauty and their scars, their pain and their pleasure. Some of these people don't have to have a major turning point to reveal who they are, and some do. Some of them may be connected, and some may not be. Who knows, I may be writing about you.
