With every word you say,
I begin to shake.
With every move you make,
My heart begins to quake.
Every time I see you,
I don't know what to do.
Why do you do those things I used to do?

In some ways the sky is blue,
And in some ways the sky is black.
I am confused and I and scared.
I think I love you but I don't know that.

Why must I hide my feelings?
Is it because of what you are doing?
It's like you are acting like I used to be.
Why would you do that?
(That person is not me.)

Yes, it is a dark past.
It was a life that could not last.
But when I met you,
My whole world changed.
(My dark past just seemed like a game.)

I was confused and I was scared.
I thought I lost you, so I wanted you back.
I could have sworn I loved you, in fact i know I did.
But if you loved me, I didn't know that.

You, you tore my heart out.
You, you used to shout.
But you, you said you loved me,
And you, you lied about that.

Now I know not to hang around you.
It's a lie, everything you do.
I thought I knew you but I was wrong.
Ever since I talked to you, but not for long.

I'm not confused and I'm not scared.
I got rid of you and I don't care.
It was your love you used to lack.
But I don't love you, and I do know that.
