Last wednesday i got the idea to try and create something with which i could connect 4 computers.
My friends and i at college love to play LAN games between classes. One cross over cable just doesn't work, and we can't use an Ad Hoc since one of our friends doesn't have a wireless network adapter.
I decided to turn my extra Rollover cable into a cross over, and solder it to my other cross over cable.
The plan was great. It was a working cross over cable with 4 male ports on it, all of which worked.
I was only able to test it with two PCs at home though, so i decide to wait until thursday to test with my friends.
With to PCs is was great. Worked just as a normal Crossover cable would. Once you connected a thrid computer the network died. Too many collisions cry
So the LANimal as i dubbed it ( it has four legs ) is a failure.
On other news, when i modded my mouse with LEDs i didn;t put in any resisance, and since they had twice the current they were designed for going through them one burned out.
The left LED saw the smoke, so i removed it and put in a resistor so the other wont do the same.
i'm now one led farther away from finishing my mouse.

This journal entry will cover as much as i can think about from the beginning of christmas break to now.
So for the first two weeks of christmas break i was bored out of my mind, and i wanted to go back to college. I like it there, but i got my grades back, so that's something. I calculated my GPA for first semester to be 3.864 or something of the like. Good stuff.
For my birthday (I'm 18 now, w00t) i got a nifty pocket watch, and loads of money.
For christmas, i got a little less money, but money none the less. I also got a tifa figureine. HER BOOBS ARE BIGGER THAN HER HEAD! it's amazing, to say the least.
I played some guitar hero with my cousin. I was owning him, but it was his game anyway so i didn't care.
For new years i had a leet party at my friend's house. She's the best.
Alot of junk went down that night, but what happens in vegas, stays in vegas.
Yesterday i had a party at my other friend's house. we had a fire. it was nice.
Today i spent all my time watching episodes of a podcast called Hak.5
It's really cool. I want to try the USB switch blade, and hacksaw using Amish's technique, but i only have lapdance to test it on so i'm not going to.

So i figured i would have to do an exam in math, but as it turns out those with an A don't have to, and our mark won't suffer for it. Sweet deal heart
So i'm done with two of my classes now, excel was easy.
Today i do the CCNA 1 Exam. W00t for networking and it's ability to die in a tire fire!
I'm a programmer, not a networking guy mad
Tomorrow i hope i learn when i have to do my programming and HTML/CSS exam. or is it's just a lame little test.

My grand parents are going to texas or something for 5 months, thank god too. Nono keeps demanding that i hurry up and get a girlfriend before he dies.
Well now, because they're all gone for 5 months and they would miss christmas my crazy aunt decided that we would have christmas dinner Yesterday night! it was good food, and i can't argue with the 50 bucks i got for christmas/my birthday (dec23rd).
... It's still october though!! gonk mad
What the ********? i don't want to think about christmas, and cold, and winter now. i want to think about candy, and scaring children.

long time since my last post.
I've started College (and thus graduated from high school.)
Aswell, i don't post much on Gaia, but my Avi Seems to keep on stayin' mighty good lookin' i think.
Wish i looked that good.
My Hair's grown back quite nicely, i like the way it's turned out, but i plan not to cut it until i'm out of college.
I'm in a programming course, and all my yteachers are cool, except Phil.
Phil's a d**k.
Mr. Drouillard is the self proclaimed b*****d, he's the coolest teacher.
He teaches Visual basic, and other laguages.
Phil, the d**k, teaches XHTML 1.0 Strict. I won't say why he's a d**k, just trust me on it.
Jack Master, is an old guy, and teaches math. He's cool, despite being old, because he talks in 1920's/prohibition era lingo.
Mr. Ulakovich is just what i expected from a teacher. he does networking and MS Excel. He knows the excel class is a joke and just useless. He's a norml teacher, and he's not a d**k, like Phil.

ok, today i was feeling particularly emo.. i have my reasons.
As portrayed in many movies the first theng to change in an individual is they cut their hair... them selves...
i was lying in bed... 1:40... i;m all like, "yeah, ******** sleep" so i got out of bed.
The last time i cut my hair was the end of grade 9, at which point i got it pig shaved. This isn't shaved down... ijust took off what was too long. It's no longer past my shoulders, much tot eh dismay of ye all.
I am far from a hairless ape... but as compared to usual i am.
