Slowly she rose from the floor, out of breathe and out of ideas. The darkness engulfed her athletic frame, except for the dim glow inhabiting her eyes.
Her long red hair hung lank on the listless body.
Asterias knew she must beat this foe, but how she did not know.
She listened for a sound, for movement in the air, anything that would giver her a clue to his whereabouts. The fate of those she loved depended on it.
