"Kana I signed you up fo this prgram that's not to far from here. It's just downtown." Kana's mother said as she smiled. "What do you mean." Kana asked. "Well I"m not going to be here for a couple weeks and I know I won't be here to watch you or help with homework so you'll be staying there." she said. Kana gasped. "How many weeks?" she asked. "Only 3. My job requires that I go away." she said. Kana wanted to complain alot about not going,,, But she wanted her mom to succeed in her job. "Well I won't argue..." Kana said as she sighed softly. Kana's mother kissed her softly as she left out the house for work.
Kana's mother was never home so everytime she left she felt a peice of her was being ripped away. Now'll she'd and her mother would be away from eachother works weeks. She wasn't sure if her mother really knew she'd be gone for three weeks. Kana walked into her room and plopped on her bed and worried herself to sleep.
Early in the morning Kana's mmother woke Kana. "Wake up, wake up dear." she said as she poked Kana. Kana opened her eyes and rolled over seeing her mother. "I have most of your things packed. Your bags are in the car. "Hurry and get dressed I have to leave in twenty minutes." the mother said as she kissed Kana on the forehead and left the room. Kana sighed. "She's really serious..." she sighed to herself as she hurried in grabbing some clothes. She took a short shower and hurried with doing her hair and putting her clothes on. She grabbed her keys and safely tucked them away and ran out the house.
Sitting before her was a big bus. Through the windows were a bunch of kids. "Mom..." Kana said. "I know but don't worry. I'll be back soon." Kana's mother said as she handed kana her bags and watched her walk off into the bus. Kana sat in the back and watched her mother drive off. Her mother blew a kiss to her and sped down the road. Kana felt her eyes water but didn't cry.
