Moderator Handbook
This is the Moderator Handbook, in which states various reasons/suggestions of actions that Moderators should take in order to keep balance in the thread.

A quick reminder: Do not torment, harass, bully, or pick on a person while using a moderation account, or any account for that matter. You are here to keep balance and stability and help the thread go along smoothly, do not make bad choices.

Problems Concerning Players and Other Players Section

Godmodding (Controlling another character, dodging all attacks, killing without permission)
How to deal with it:
Warning and request the guilty party to change their post. If they don't do so it will be deleted.

Overpowering (Starting with a character that is god-like and cannot be harmed/wounded, or has powers that are far too strong.)
Examples: Instant Healing, Invincibility, a move that destroys a whole fleet very quickly, having an overpowered companion, etc.
How to deal with it:
Warning and request the guilty member/s change their character/s to be more fair.

Cybering
How to deal with it:
Removal of post, followed by warning. If the guilty party/ies are persistent, alerting of gaia staff and ban.

Note: Players are allowed to "be romantic", but actual description/imagery of any sexual acts is discouraged, Gaia made the rules, we have to follow them.

Flame Wars Flame Wars are unnecessary fights between two people who have degraded to only shouting insults back and forth, this would normally be observed in OOC.
How to deal with them:
Warning, if the members do not listen to the warning or start back up again deletion of posts, if they persist, banning for a short amount of time may be necessary.

Usages of Random Number Generator System
1. If players are having a difficulty with godmodding during fights, a random number generator system can be established.
2. If many players are battling a large group of enemies, and godmodding/overpowering is observed, a random number generator system should be established.

Problems Concerning A Single Player

Bringing Characters Back
If a character is killed for an unfair reason and had no say in the matter but was a good sport and played along, moderators are allowed to bring them back.

Multiple Undefined Clones
Player is using one character in two or more different areas without describing a cloning/illusion/similar event.
How to deal with it:
Ask the party to delete/edit the posts describing these multiple instances, if refused then a moderator is allowed to delete the post.

Refusal to Listen to Moderators
How to deal with it:
Warning at first, if the party is persistent, banning.

Spamming
A person who posts long messages that have nothing to do with the thread, or if they do they are meant to take up space and annoy thread members, is a spammer.
How to deal with them:
Warning, Deletion of Post, if persistent then eventual Banning.

How-Tos

How to ban someone- Delete their posts when they post, you should be able to do it faster than them because they can only post once a minute.

How to Delete A Post (Doesn't count for banning)- When you delete a post, leave a post stating the reason why it was deleted.

Random Number Generator Explanation/Procedure

Dark Leviathan
]1. Inform the Role Players that the Number Generator is going to be used to set up a posting order.
2. Examine the amount of role players in that event.
3. Instruct players to use the number generator in a OOC post with the values from 1 to x. X stands for the amount of players in that event.
4. Allow for the lowest number to post first, after the post is completed, allow for the next lowest; so on, so fourth.

Supplice Grimoire

During a reaction-post (acknowledging a fight with another group, preferably), the people taking part in the battle would begin by using the random number generator under posting actions. Based off of the number (1 being the first to post and 10 being the last, for this example), the members taking part in the battle would, in their next posts, start attacking and defending the other people and themselves.
So say young Billy got 1 from the random number generator, while young Jeff got 10. Young Billy would post first, while young Jeff would post last. The people that posted in between would post in standard numerical order, going from 1 to 10. Say two people got the same number. Then they would reach compromise in an OOC thread, trying to decide who would go first. The compromise is to reach this: one person posts in their number in the sequence, the other one would post last.
Their actions are only influenced by what they want to (and probably should) react to, such as attacks made on them or nearby.
