Why a Grimoire? What's a Grimoire? |

You may be wondering this 2 very simple questions. In fact you may be thinking "What's up with this guy? A *Grimoire*, Sounds Satanic or dark in Nature. You Satanic freak....". Well I don't blame you guys. For those that don't know much about the Mystical and the world of the Occult, it may appear like that. Well allow me to illuminate you and give you the first lesson, a basic definition if i may.
First I must say, that thanks to most modern beliefs, almost all about this subject has been marked as evil or dark in nature, when its not like that. What we call "The Occult" is just a simple misconception, a derrogatory term given to tell you "Dont look at that , that is wrong, look at our stuff, ours is the right and real deal. " Well who are we to know what's the truth and what's not. For all we know, what we call reality can be nothing more than somebody's invention (Look at "The Matrix" for example....). Believe me, I do not think myself either superior nor that i know everything. Like Socrates said: "The Only Thing I Know is that I Know Nothing". Well, I got carried a little bit, Sorry for that. It tends to Happen to me alot so I ask that you bear with me a little.
Anyways, a "Grimoire" is a book, folder, notebook, computer file, wherever a person who knows or practices the Mystical, writes down his knowledge in order to preserve it. Well, actually only "Male" practitioners have Grimoires. Female practitioners have what has been come to be known as a "Book of shadows" (yeah like in "Charmed" wink , again with the whole concept of some religions of characterizing the female counterpart as evil or dark. Anyways, the male part of the "Book of spells" doesn't fall too far off on the list. Being Grim-(dark or scary)
-moire (book or thing in which memories or memoires are written.). A lot of famous people trough History have written their own Grimoires:

- Nicolas Flammel
- Leonardo DaVinci
- Pope Honorious XII
- Sir Isaac Newton
- Roger Bacon
- St. Thomas Aquin
- Emperor Constantine
- Aliester Crowley
- The Italian Noble Family - DeMedici
- And a Heckuva lot of other people which I'll be Quoting throughout my Works.
Well to wrap this up, now that you know, what a Grimoire is, then you probably can already see where I'm going with my work. A public space in which i'll be posting both what I know and what I learn throughout my time on this Earth. Please feel free to ask or to write me with sugestions, teachings, curiosities, doubts or comments. I don't do this with the intention of creating a new mass movement or change this society and its way of life. It's just my very small and yet so humble offering to This Life, to the Magical World and to Humanity. I hope you, the readers, both enjoy and learn some new things and new points of view, because, after all, I do this for all of you.
