Are we not all monsters, beasts of our own natures? Why is it imposed upon us that we should find others of our kind to love? Surely even the bond between two beings cannot eradicate the soul-deep loneliness that inhabits us all. I do not mean to deter, no. Love is a beautiful, magnificent emotion of ardent passion that when it is found, is a blessing and a curse. I do not mean to chastise anyone who seeks for this emotion, this bond, merely must we slave ourselves and others to the chore if we are loners? Must we make puppets and puppeteers of our neighbors? I am marionette no more, freed from the bandages of my lonely love. Do not mistake me for apathetic, I feel emotion just the same as anyone else, I merely do not emphasize my entirety, my being, upon the searching for love. The journey reminds of the loneliness, for we only notice things by its absence.
