~chapter three~
WHY ME!?!
3 months later we both got out of the hospital and had no home but if I can get to my house I can probably find my huge safe that has my collage money in it. I wheeled my little buddy back to his couch that was now black and half gone he got up and laid down on the couch but what I didn’t know was that this is the same thing that happened to his parents and the couch he was laying on wasn’t mine it was his moms. He broke down in tears I saw my parched rifle on the ground I grabbed it and gave it to him. He loaded it and shot the wooded Debreu he cried more but let the anger out. He blamed himself for what happened to his parents and what almost happened to me. He fainted in anger and dropped the rifle. “the poor thing “ a women said behind me I jumped cause I didn’t even know she was there. “well hello there I’m Elizabeth but my…(giggle Elizabeth wow nice name lady ha ha) friends call me Liz“. “Hello Liz I’m …Sara” well hello Sara what a pretty name “ she had the tongue of a snake the S like the hissing that the snake makes. I put myself into a protective position. To the boy she noticed and glared “ give me the boy I know your protecting him” “ never” I yell she glared more “ LARRY, SCAR TAKE THE BOY, NOW!” “ NO STAY AWAY FROM HIM “ I picked up the rifle pointing it at the men now shaking violently. my eyes darted every were determined to keep the boy safe. One man moved I shot him in the arm as a warning that I will shoot if they try to take him away from me liz moved toward me I didn’t give her a warning I shot both her legs. Sara started crying she had never really shot someone unless they shot here first so this was a bit new for her “ would you just leaves us alone I don’t want to kill you but I will if I have to “ Liz limped up on her less hurt leg “ok ok take it easy we will leave but we will be back so don’t, NOW” “NO!!!!!” they grabbed the boy and fled I was in to much shock to follow them I fell to my knees crying now I screamed to the night sky “WHY ME WHY DID YOU CHOSE ME??!!!!!!!!!!”I was screaming to the heavens, to God.

What just happened?
The next morning I was hesitant to get my jog in and if I did jog it would be in a crowed area “yah yah I’ll just run around the Eifel tower a couple of times “ I said nervously I peeked into the living room the boy was still sleeping on the couch. I smiled cause I knew he was probably home less and he had a ruff night. I went over to him and stroked his hair I knew he was awake because his eyes were twitching really badly and he was fighting back a smile but he wasn’t very good at it. I sat down on the couch and watch his face bunch up because he smelled his own hand as they touched his face I laughed when he jumped up to go and wash them. “ cant take the stench can you “ I yelled into the bathroom “shut up “ he said from the bathroom I laughed some more. Then I told him I was going on my jog. He said ok and I left two steep stairs later he came running out after me. He was screaming help me I didn’t know why until BOOM!! my apartment exploded it was raining Debreu. I looked up and saw the fridge just about to squish my new buddy . I screamed and ran towards him he jumped out of the way but not enough it landed on his legs and you could hear the crack his legs made when they broke I winced and ran over to him I pushed at the fridge but it would not move. I scream and cried I screamed for help but my voice was dead. I fainted the pressure of the moment over whelmed me. I woke up and we were in the hospital his legs were in slings hanging from the sealing. I shot up in the bed I had not noticed it but I had a broken arm and a fractured rib. I winced when I shot up because I moved my rib to much my hand shot to my side I grabbed my side. I started to cry the pain was to much to bear my mind relief me. But not before my little buddy woke and said “ I’m sorry”
