Cell Phones are pretty much over rated.
Yes, i have one, and i even want one that is better than the one that i have now. Many of you will agree, that a phone without even MP3 is lame... well, my phone has no MP3, and no camera. I can record stuff, but it cannot be placed as my ring tone. So, basically, my phone is lame. This, I know is very true. My father has even gone to the extent to take texting and internet off of the plan.
Now, for me, that isn't so bad, simply because i think texting is a waste of time unless it is necessary. Like, when you are in a meeting or something and you can't call out. But what really bugs me isn't the fact that he doesn't want me texting, but the fact that he took it off so that i couldn't text, even though he knows I won't anyway.
Example: the company accidentally placed texting back on our account. (this was when the prices went up to 25 cents) Well, people texted me and texted me. i got quite a few "mistexts" from random people that I didn't know. so those weren't counted against me. But when my boyfriend goes to Texas for a week, we can't talk because he has no signal down there... we text back and forth 5 times. 5 times!!! that is all, and he takes texting off.
See now, I am getting huffy about the phone... explaining my point that cell phones are over rated.
people get angry or frustrated with the slightest thing that has to do with their cell phone. if it breaks: OMG I NEED A NEW PHONE!!! or if texts come in an hour after they were supposed to: OMG I NEED A NEW PHONE THIS ONE SUCKS!!! or even if a younger sibling gets a newer model of a crappy phone that is better than yours, you want a newer, better phone. that is going on with my sister and myself... so I know. I was about to shoot my dad when I found out that she had a phone that was a slider, had camera, and MP3... when mine is just a flip phone that has nothing. I was pissed. But now, im just waiting for her to forget about it so it will go through the wash like all of her other electronics. twisted i am a horrible sister
