On March 16th, 2010, the club I joined SPICE, and STAC sponsored the bowl a-thon for Leukemia and Lymphoma at AMX Sheridan Lanes.
Everyone had lots of fun; there was pizza for dinner and cookie pies for dessert.
Both were delicious!
Together, everyone in those two clubs raised a total of more than twenty thousand dollars!
On May 2nd, I went to my mom’s job to help take care of the orphan kittens.
It was fun feeding this one female kitten named Gianna with a bottle; she was so cute and playful!
While I was there, I cleaned cages which were pretty dirty (but I used gloves)!
On May 16th, 2010 I went to the Bird Sanctuary near our school to help clean up for the 5k walk.
I helped pick the weeds and dead plants to help make the park look nice for the 5k walk.
On that Thursday, I did a walk for Juvenile diabetes on the school track.
Not many people showed, but I walked for a while and I thought it was a good idea to walk for.
On Saturday, I did the 1 mile walk and afterwards, one of my friends and I watched the 5k run.
Later that day, I went outside and picked up some garbage off of the lawn at my house.
I put all of the garbage into a plastic bag and got rid of it.
Whenever I see liter, I go inside my house, get a paper bag and the picker upper my grandpa used to have to pick it up and dispose it.
