What is Amercia to some people? The land of the free? The home of the brave? The birthplace of democracy? Maybe, perhaps all of these. Along with being the most prosperous first world country.
But to me, it is simply another land, like Rome or England. Many people are scared about the future, that Iran could nuke us and send us all to hell, or that the National Deficet will doom us when India and China stop buying security.
Why be scared? When you look at history, were just another country in history. A great country no doubt, but nonetheless another country destined to fall.
Another one will rise up, greater than before to take her place. And thus the cycle continues.
It is all part of the plan of God, we cannot understand it. I'm sure the Byzantines couldn't understand it in 1453. Or the Spanish after their armada was dashed on the shores of Ireland.
The world will come to an end eventualy and entropy will take it's toll. Why fight the inevitable?
