So... uh... today while I was doing some maintenance on my ship, a messenger came to deliver me a package. Attached to it was a pink envelope with her name on it as the sender. I opened it and was greeted by the smell of the flowers I sent her awhile back. She still has them... what a contrast that smell is to the ever present tar and sweat on the ship.
She said there were gifts for me enclosed and she asked me... to Promegeddon. I was so surprised. I would have never thought... I thought she might be busy, so I didn't ask her. I quickly penned a response that I would go, I would just need to go shopping.
In the box were some lovely glittering jewels that would have made a fine grab if I had found them before she did... though I'm sure such an upstanding lady such as herself actually bought them in a store wink
I've bought my dress. It feels awkward to wear. I haven't worn such garments for years... and it was never on my own terms. My mother insisted I be a proper lady when I was young.
Anyway, I'll write again soon, diary.
