After a very long absence, I'm back to write some more curiosities.. biggrin
1) The most expensive sandwich of the world:
It has about 23 cm, 600 g and it costs... € 130 (130 euros, converting for dollar would be US$ 160.12)!!! This sandwich has a special ingredient which comes from Japan. This "special ingredient" is the meat of a Wagyu, a animal native from Japan. There are another ingredients, but nothing costs so much as this meat. I imagine that only Bill Gates and his pals can eat this wonderfully-expensive sandwich... biggrin

Ok, enough with this melodramatic thing.. let's get going.. biggrin
2) The original Ice Cream is a Rice ice cream?? o.O
It was the chinese people that invented the ice cream, at four thousand years ago. This deliciuous recipe was composed of milk, snow (yeah, snow!) and... rice! Yes, that's right: the first ice cream got ice at his composition.. Strange, isn't it? biggrin
For my (and your) luck, the Italian voyager and merchant Marco Polo brought the ice cream to Italy, where it was changed for better, becoming like the ice cream which all of us love so much!

For getting started with my journal, I'll say some interesting curiosities:
1) Do you know that there are a sea where u can float anytime?? Yeah, this sea exists, it's not a joke, it's called Dead Sea, because the concentration of salt is very huge, and no sea life form can survive at there. You can read your journal floating at the Dead Sea, and you won't drown! Believe me, it's very interesting.

2) The Egyptian Piramids are surrounded with misteries.. One of them is why these constructions are so amazing, considering the time which they were builded.. So many theories exists about it, but one of them is strange: some guys think that the Egyptian Piramids are a parking area for UFOs! Yeah, that's right, UFOs, can you believe at this?
So, it's kind of strange these amazing ancient buildings! biggrin
