Hey everyone! I'm back! Here's the update on the story! here you go!

Elderly Councilor: It seems we have a new enemy among us. These creatures don’t belong on any of the other elemental lands, and it’s multiplying by the millions! We caught one so we can research what they are.

The councilor looks at the other councilors.

Elderly Councilor: Koi-chan! Kaze-kun, You may show them the creature. Just don’t let it out of it’s cage.

Both councilors nodded their heads and left.

Meanwhile with Shiroi and Sakka.

Sakka: No *huff* fair!
Shiroi: Hah! I still *gulp* beat *cough* you!
Sakka: You *huff* cheated!
Shiroi: Sore- *gasp* loser! *huff*
(both Sakka and Shiroi inhale and exhale deeply)

Shiroi: Hey, I remember this place!
Sakka: Huh? question

Shiroi points to a spot near the beach. It was a small piece of land mostly filled with rocks and small pools of water.

Sakka: Oh yah! We use to come here every time the third moon cycle is over. I remember how we always played at the little pools made by the ditches in the sand. It’s always filled with water and large rocks surround it so I couldn’t drown
Shiroi: Oh yah, you couldn’t swim! Hah! I remembered you once, almost drowning.
Sakka: yah, because you taunted me, saying that I’m a loser for not swimming!! mad
Shiroi: oh yah. Sorry about that! sweatdrop
Sakka: No problem. It happened 10 lunar cycles ago! biggrin
Shiroi: Wait, do you mean one of the moons or all four.
Sakka: All four baka! xp
Shiroi: Humph! You didn’t have to put it so bluntly! mad

Back at the auditorium

Koi: We’re ready.

Grand councilor: good, take the cover off

Kaze: Hai!

Both Koi and Kaze went over and brought a huge cage. Kaze held onto the Kage and Koi pulled the sheet to reveal…a heartless!

The crowd gasps!

Elderly councilor: These black shadow creatures aren’t from this world. Unlike other creatures, they have no heart, so for the time being, we’ll call these creatures heartless. They seemed to be drawn to people’s hearts and will not stop at nothing to get them.

Grand Councilor: These creatures must be stopped! So I advise that everyone must have a Rethinian light warrior to protect their family. Every Rethinian light warrior must assemble at our fortress. If any are missing…may the 4 moons help them!

Back to Sakka and Shiroi

Shiroi: Man, it’s been a long time since we had any fun like this
Sakka: we, mostly you. I have my fun times
Shiroi: Yah, but you always ditch the meetings for your own time!
Sakka: I hate hearing long winded speeches, besides, you always explain them to me afterwards!
Shiroi: Yah, but I might not always be here.
Sakka: Yah, why do you have to be way ahead of the rest of us? Why can’t you be here more? I’ll miss you-err I mean, you know, who will I bother when you’re gone?
Shiroi smiles and slightly chuckles.
Shiroi: Sakka, you never change. But we all have to move on
Sakka: Shiroi…
Shiroi: I may be gone, but I’ll come back. Just promise me one thing.
Sakka: what?
Shiroi: No matter if we’re separated, we’ll always be remembered in our hearts
Sakka:…..
Shiroi: Sakka, be safe, and keep those who you hold dear close to your heart.
Sakka: Shiroi…I never knew that you-
Shiroi: yah, I can be surprising. Just be careful, and please don’t change.
Sakka: why?
Shiroi: How else am I suppose to recognize you. You over react to everything!
Sakka: Grr! You just ruined a good moment you know! stressed
Shiroi: yah, because you’re always so moody!
Sakka: GRRR!! I aughta kill you! scream

Sakka was about to strangle Shiroi until something caught her eye.

Sakka: Ahh!!!!
Shiroi: What?!
Sakka points to the ground, a heartless was crawling towards them. Shiroi jumps in front of Sakka and pulls out his sword. It was a thin but long sword filled with light. He swung at it and it disappears.
Sakka: what was that thing?!
Shiroi: I don’t know but we have to warn the others! Let’s go!

Both Shiroi and Sakka ran back to the auditorium. Just as they arrive, One of the councilors called out to them.

Koi: Shiroi! Sakka! Get over here! It’s dangerous out here!
Sakka: I’m sorry miss!
Koi: Get in here, we have an important announcement to Rethinian light warriors only. So go!
Shiroi and Sakka: Hai!

Both ran inside the building. The building was crowed with warriors of many levels.

Grand councilor: Ok everyone! We’ve notice these creatures are among us! So I need every help from everyone! My wife will explain the procedure

Elderly councilor: Thank you. Ok…Warriors from Levels 1-9 must protect their own family. Each one will receive a communicator. Alert us of there’s any trouble. Warriors from level 10-14 will have to protect their neighborhood. That means you have to protect everyone where you live. Since you’re at a high experience, you can defend yourself and others as well. And levels 15-20, have to come with us to the ship. We’re going to help the other lands in defending these creatures. Everyone, there’s a chance we may survive this, but all of you need to put your heart into this. Try your hardest to defend those you hold dear. Now, let’s move out!

Rethinian warriors: Hai!

Soon, every Rethinian warriors left to go to their post. It was total chaos but luckily no one got hurt. Shiroi and Sakka ran down the corridor, soon they reached a fork at the end of the hall. Each leading to their own post.

Shiroi: this is it. My first mission. Wish me luck.
Sakka: wait, Shiroi, you wanted me to make a promise so I want you to make a promise to me!
Shiroi:……
Sakka: Please be careful! Come back in one piece ok! *tears start to swell up* I just can’t…Oh man! *Tries to hold back tears*
Shiroi: *Grabs Sakka’s face gently and brought it to him.* It’s ok, you can cry if you want. Here, I was using this as a good luck charm but I think you needed it more than me. *hands her a glittering diamond in a shape of a flower.*
Sakka: *takes the diamond* But don’t you need it?
Shiroi: Not anymore, besides, it’s too girly for my taste
Sakka: Grr- *sighs* Are you sure you want me to keep this.
Shiroi: Wow, for once you didn’t over react.
Sakka: *smirks* What can I say, I can be surprising too.
Shiroi: Keep it safe, ok? I want to see it when I return.
Sakka: Shiroi….that is, if you return..
Shiroi: Don’t say things like that! Of course I will return! And you also better be in one piece!
Sakka:…….I…I...I *hugs Shiroi* Just be careful!
Shiroi: …..
Sakka: *lets go* I better be off now.
Shiroi: Ok, remember what I told you before, Alright?
Sakka: Hai!

Shiroi and Sakka said their goodbyes and left. Shiroi left to the station. The light warriors lived so far away from the other elemental lands so they created high quality ships to get there fast if needed to. The station was so hi-tech. You see many leaders boarding their ships. There was a ship that was a bit smaller than others, it looks like it was an old model but it’s still working. Shiroi saw it and he climbed on board the ship.

Shiroi: Alright people, this is my first time leading a mission just to give you a head start. But I promise that I will lead this crew safely to the elemental lands. Ok?

Crew: Alright!

So Shiroi got the ship started and left with the rest of the warriors to help the other elemental lands. Just below, back at the stations, Sakka was there seeing him in action. She waved to him and soon left.

She ran down to the changing rooms and changed into her warrior’s outfit. She soon left to her home where she will be protecting her family and neighbors.

She ran down to her home when she saw other warriors fighting theses heartless, she wanted to help but knew it wasn’t her place to fight. So she kept running. She finally reached her home where she saw other warriors keeping watch. She joined in and everyone in the neighorhhood was inside.

Sakka: It’s odd that it’s so quiet in here.

Warrior #1: Yah, we should check to see if everyone’s alright.

Warrior #2: You go check it then. I’m supposed to check things here.

Warrior#1: fine then. Wait here you guys, I’ll check what's going on.

Warrior #1 leaves the group to go check the silence. Hopefully he’s alright.

Sakka: *sigh* do you know anything about these creatures? You know, the ones we’re fighting?

Warrior #2: nope, all I know is that these creatures are some kind of shadow creatures. I think that those creatures were developed by the dark realm, but they say they didn’t and that the creatures were attacking them first! But I don’t buy it!

Sakka: I wonder… what do these creatures want from us?

Warrior # 2: well, I don’ have all the answers but they might want people's hearts or something like that.

Sakka: How do you know?

Warrior #2: Well, I saw one of my comrades turn into one.

Sakka: what?! People can actually turn into one of them?

Warrior #2: Yah, he cried out that his heart hurts then he becomes engulf in some kind of shadow mist and right there in front of me, he became that awful creature.

Sakka: Holy quadruplet lunar! That’s horrible!

Both Sakka and Warrior # 2 chat was interrupted when Warrior #1 came back.

Sakka: finally, you came back!

Warrior #2: What took you so long?

Warrior #1: …….

Warrior #2: Hello? Are you going to answer me?

Warrior #1 stares at them in an blank state. This is starting to make them worry.

Sakka: Hey…Are you ok? What’s happening? *gets close to him*

Warrior #1 started to shake uncontrollably! He soon went on all fours and began to walk towards her. Sakka became frightened. “Wh-What are you doing?! Stop!”
But he didn’t, instead his eyes became yellow and swirls of darkness surrounded him.

Warrior #2: Oh no! They got him! I’ll warn everyone to leave this place! Sakka! Try to stall all of these creatures until everyone is safe.

Sakka: Hai!

Warrior #2 quickly runs to the neighborhood to warn everyone. Sakka drew out her new sword and charged at the creature. The heartless soon became a shadow and dodged her attack. She kept swinging her sword and the heartless kept crawling and dodging her attacks. Soon after, she finally hit it.

Sakka: *Sigh* Well, it’s over. Huh?!

Sakka saw a little girl by the ocean and there’s a heartless that’s sneaking up right behind her. She quickly rushed towards her.

The girl was splashing in the waves until she heard Sakka’s voice.

Sakka: Get out of there! You have to get out!

The little girl couldn’t make out the voice. But when she turned around, the heartless was close to her. She screamed and ran towards Sakka. She began to cry

Sakka: Run, run back to your neighborhood, there’s a girl waiting for you. Go to her, she’ll keep you safe.

The little girl nodded and ran as fast as she could, the heartless ran after her but was blocked by Sakka’s sword.

Sakka: Hey!! You’re fight’s with me!

The heartless became a shadow and crawled away. Sakka chased after it and hit the spot where it was crawling. The heartless disappeared. Sakka was relived but later she was shocked when hundreds of heartless came after her! She ran farther out to sea. The heartless came swimming after her. She did the best she could to fend off against the heartless. She spun and twirled with her sword knocking every heartless in sight. She was beginning to grow tired, after all, it’s her first time fighting an army by herself. Soon, at least four heartless jumped her from behind and dragged her out deeper into the sea. She grabbed her sword and knocked more off of her but she was way far out into the sea to fight her best. She felt something tugging her under. She held her breath, went under and tried to fen off the heartless. Her air supply was low, she had to come up for air! But she couldn’t, more heartless came and dragged her down! Suddenly her lucky charm that Shiroi gave her floated upward. She grabbed it and held it close to her. Then she remembered the words he said……Sakka, be safe, and keep those who you hold dear close to your heart…Just be careful, and please don’t change…keep those who you hold dear close to your heart… keep those who you hold dear close……to your heart.

Sakka smiled and cried (although it was hard to see because she was under water)
Thinking * Shiroi…I’m sorry… at the end, I didn’t keep my promise, I’m far from safe but I can keep half of the promise! I’ll remember everyone close to me. Whatever happens, I have to have a strong heart! I won’t give in that easily! These heartless may take me but I won’t go that easily!*

She began sinking deeper and deeper. Memories of her life flashed by. Memories of her family, her friends, and everyone she loved passed by. She smiled as she feel deeper into the water with the heartless already doing their job…

Sakka: I couldn’t keep my promise but, I will always be strong and keep those I hold dear near my heart.

She was soon surrounded by a dark mist, slowly beginning to transform…..
