Do you want to know how the church service went?

Ok, well, the kid who wanted me to substitute for him pulled a fast one. He didn't want to acolyte. Not because he couldn't. It was the fact that it was a 2.5 hours long.

AKA: Started at 7, ended at 9:42. D:

The first hour and a half were horrible.

There were twelve readings in all with saying psalms after it.

Now, the baptismal part was more interesting.

Jessen /other acolyte/ and I were at the back with the pastor and the rest of the congregation and I had to hold the book.

We noticed something. XD

Whenever the pastor ended a note he bobbed his head like a pigeon...several times.

We were starting to crack up.

Then Jessen had to pour the water into the baptismal thing and the pastor told him to hold his arm up higher, so Jessen did that and the water went PLOOSH! As soon as it hit the bowl it went out. All over the place. ;D

It was so funny. We were cracking up majorly.

Then there were some minor jokes. At the end of the church service we had to sing a hymn and since we didn't have hymnals I started singing, "Bla, bla, la, la, fa, la, la, etc."

Finally, the service was over and Jessen and I ran in the acolyte room saying, "THANK YOU GOD! IT IS OVER!"

A lady came up to us and said, "Bless you guys."

Oh yes. 2.5 hours.

I have gone through 'hell' and I've survived.
