Time ticks away, second by second. People dont really think of that, they live a second at a time yet dont care for it. Seconds dont really account for anything now a days, just like pennies. People waste time second by second, those seconds add up to minutes which add up to hours. So really one person can waste hours of their life, doing nothing, just sitting there, tapping a pencil and staring at a table thinking how bored they are. What if someone's life, someone you knew, was close to end? All you need is a few seconds to change that...to save them. What would you think about seconds then? Knowing that you almost lost them...knowing they could have been gone to you. Would you cherish every second then? ...I know i would
But I wouldnt need that close situation to know how valuable time is. I already cherish every second, every second im alive, with my friends, with my love. So dont waste your time, you only live once. Live your life to the fullest, and notice what happens in every second, you might be surprised, maybe not, but take the time to notice even the small things.
