On a wave of euphoria
I ride into battle
My sword drawn and my shield held high
The heart dances to the drummers sound
Foot soldiers and arrow men stand together again
Like the mighty ocean two forces will clash together
Making a devastating encompass of strategy, strength, cunning, and luck
In the beginning two will stand
But in the end one must fall
The arrows rain down all around
Many escape from the ranged attack while others arent so fortunate
Screams of the dieing and wounded echo in everyones ears
But i hear nothing, i see nothing
The taste of blood in my mouth, nor the feeling of my sword swinging
...nothing
Youre my reason to live
Youre my reason to fight
Youre the reason i dont sense much of anything, why my instincts carry me on a bloody rage to survive, to win, be victorious for my cause
With every slain enemy that once stood before me I get closer to standing by your side once more
My battle cry shakes the very souls of those who stand in front of me as they see me pushing my way through their comrades slaying one after the other
Although my sword, shield, and armor get heavy with every passing second my thoughts of you give me the strength to carry on, to never give up
I wont stop, not till either i fall or they do...
But know this...if i ever do fall in battle, I am terribly sorry my love...i will always be by your side
If you dont notice my presence ill be there, waiting till the day that you will stand by mine again, and i will hold you and never let go
Youre the reason Im living, but i will always die for you
