I know, my kitties are pretty whee We got most of our cats for free (except for vet-related expenses), though...

Tigger we got 'cause Rose "rescued" an abused cat from down the street, and the cat was pregnant and gave birth *in* the couch (the mom was Nikki, whom I never met, and she gave birth to Tigger and Sweetpea...Sweetpea died almost two years ago now, and Tigger's still around).

Littlefoot we got 'cause she hung out with her grandpa (Charlie, whom died last May) outside the house all the time (they were strays, and Rose took them in 'cause Littlefoot was still a baby and her mom got ran over by a car).

Cookie we got 'cause she'd been passed down from owner to owner whom didn't want her, and Jaya rescued her from her dad's house when her dad was moving to a place that wouldn't allow pets.

Boo we got to keep Littlefoot company after Charlie died, and we adopted her from the pound. She had been a box kitten =/

And Khai we got from Melissa, whom paid a lot for him but then no longer wanted him heart
