I suppose that most people have had at least a few points in their lives, when they experienced some sort of strong emotion in conjunction with some sort of revelation. This is the only one that I have ever had, and I just felt like writing it down somewhere so I could refer back to it every once in a while.
"Yeah. It happens less and less as I get older. People grow up and mature and, even though I may be the same age as them, they lose the ability to do that. Growing up takes all the innocent joy and laughter out of them. They forget how to just.…..play and laugh and be happy with each other.
Wow. I just realized that this is the most depressing thing I have ever thought of. If I were still young enough to easily cry, I would be crying right now.
This is the first really deep moment I can ever really remember happening. And it feels stupid for me to say all this over the internet.
Wow. I doubt that I will ever have another realization this profound in my entire life.
