Today I will be teaching you about domestic animals. This lesson will cover how to say: dog, cat, hamster, bird, and fish.
---
犬/いぬ(Inu) is a general term for all dogs. If you look at the kanji symbol carefully, it can look like a dog. (The dot being the tail.) わんこワン公(Wanko) is a cute way of saying this word. "Wan" is the sound of a dog's bark.
猫/ねこ(Neko) is the term for cat. The symbol does not look like a cat. にゃんこ(Nyanko) is the equivalent to Wanko.
ハムスター(Hamusta~) is a the word for hamster. It's the same thing.
鳥/とり(Tori) is the word for any type of bird. インコ(Inko) means parrot, just to be a little bit more specific.
魚/さかな(Sakana) means fish. 金魚/きんぎょ(Kingyo) means goldfish.

I'm sorry about the short class. There isn't much to go into detail with. If you have any questions or comments, reply to this post or PM me. Thank you. See you next time!
