Entangled within the raging storm inside
The forsaken shadows resigning beneath the frostbitten grass
Finally set free
--Reeking chaos
Only tamed by it’s own essence
--My soul
(Just a mere shadow in the daylight.)
The sun deceiving
--Shining radiantly
As the storm clouds consume
The thunder crashing violently
--Rain drowning my hope
(My soul..)
While the fire below destroys all that is left
--And the storm continues
Raging inside my head.
A humid whisper moves across my cheek
Creeping into my ear
The rapid flames of hell washing over me
--Drenching me-
Until plunging into the depths of my mind
Never to be seen
And yet burning deep inside
How many more burns till you see?
Blind as to the pain resigning within
(Or perhaps you chose not to see)
Even as the purple and black dot my skin,
And I watch them multiply
Covered from head to toe
--Even the inside now bruised
(Or maybe it’s just ink..)
Hidden beneath my coat.
Your hands-
Handcuffs around my wrists
Binding me here
--Within the forgotten lies.
How much longer till you let go?
(Set me free..)
When will I reach the surface?
A silent scream rings on
--Pouring over me
As it darkens my heart
(My fears..)
Lost within the mazes of my mind-
I’ve become entangled within.
Who will save me now?
Mind games chronically replaying
Until I finally break
(Why must it always be this way?)
I’m alone in the darkness
--Broken
(Again.)
