Taking in my last breath
I heard them calling my name.
Crying out as if to awaken me
And yet with each cry I’m pulled farther in
--Into the depths of the water surrounding me
--Still don’t want to be awoken-
I need to stay in this dreamland forever,
Never to face the truth
Never to feel the pain.
But they continue crying out-still trying to awaken
And I’m pulled down
Farther-
Deeper-
Unable to breathe-I try anyways
But I can’t.
I’m drowning in this dreamland
And no one can see…
Dying again..
I was drawn to you,
Memorized by your eternal light,
But now..
Now I'm swimming in a sea of lies,
The sea created by you,
Cut by your words,
Words that weren't even true,
And now I'm drowning,
Drowning in the sea you left behind,
Bleeding, my wrists slit by your cruel words.
But I don't want your help this time,
I don't want your love,
I'm drowning,
I'm bleeding,
I'm dying again..

Trapped
I'm trapped in my body,
I'm screaming inside,
I've lost all hope,
I'm waiting to die.
I've waited for you hoping you'd return my love,
But all you do is speak of her as if she was sent from above,
All of this torment unbearable and unfair,
And I have decided I no longer care.
Now the years have and you now see,
You were a fool to not love me,
It is too late now, I have a love of my own,
And you are now sorry for what you have done.

You decided to leave,
Now I'm lost without you,
And it seems there’s nothing I can do,
I crash to my knees staring blankly up into
the dim gray sky,
Then franticly close my eyes again attempting
to hide the truth,
I try to tell myself that your gone,
Yet my heart won't let me,
I open my eyes again to let in the light,
But all there is, is darkness,
Darkness again...

The world is racing past us,
And there is nothing we can do,
With each minute a discovery,
With each day something new,
When one door closes,
Then the next will open,
Ties will be made and let go,
And tested through and through.
But no matter how fast time flies,
Or the world passes you,
There is one thing you can be sure of,
Friends will be there for you no matter what you do.

Forever Lost
She cries herself to sleep each night,
Hoping the pain will go away,
But it keeps coming back to her each and
every day,
He hurt her so deeply,
She doesn't know what to do,
She is in pain and truly suffering,
But no one knows what she's going through,
She wishes it to be over at nearly any cost,
Her wish is now granted,
Her soul is forever lost.

Soul-less eyes and false smiles,
Backstabbing betrayals and endless denials.
Our world is full of all of this,
Never happiness, joy, and bliss.
Tears, screaming, anger, and fears,
These all are things we face through the
years,
It's sad and painful to face them all,
Because when we do we only fall.

She looks around her,
All she sees is hollow faces,
Shallow eyes and empty minds,
That fill in none of the blank spaces.
Her heart grows cold and bitter with each day,
All of her hopes and dreams have forever

He didn't pick her up that cold winter night,
Outside she was angry, inside full of fright.
Something had happened, this much she knew,
Inside all her fear grew,
Her mom picked her up and said, "Something
happened to Jimmy."
They rushed to the emergency room,
With each second she got even more lost in
her doom,
By the time they got there,
He was gone,
And Morgan knew he wouldn't wake to see
another dawn.

She hides behind a false smile,
Looking into soul-less eyes,
She lurks in the shadows,
Never unmasking her disguise.
But behind the smile you can see,
No happiness only pain and misery,
Yet she smiles each day as if there's
nothing new,
Acting as if she had never been blue.

It's true form of grace and beauty,

Feeling like she has died.
Her eyes are cold and lifeless,
Without feeling, emotion, or pain.
She has given up on life,
And she can't stand it anymore,
She tries to get out but she can't open the

Helping Hand
The world is a place of laughter and tears,
A place of hope and a place of fears,
It's filled with the dreams in little
children's heads,
It's filled with the nightmares that anyone
would dread,
The world can be very forgiving and kind,
It can also be full of the most powerful
hatred anyone could find,
But when you need help or when your in trouble,
There will always be a helping hand that will
help ground your problems into the rubble.
The world may be full of horrible people and
horrible things,
But just remember there is always someone
good or kind,
That is willing to help if it's trouble that
you find.

She's falling through an endless pit of the
souls who are lonely and despise,
She thinks anything would be better then
keeping her discise.
She screams aloud though no one can hear her,
Tumbling through the endless pit, it all just
seems such a blur,
She opens her eyes expecting the warm golden
sun.
But all she can see is darkness.
She finally realizes this is all real,
But she just can't find a way to deal.

The Sky
She smiles as she looks up at the clear blue
sky,
She can feel his arms around her,
Everything else just seems a blur,
Joy rushes through her like never before,
She no longer feels hollow or empty inside,
Or as if she'll just be rejected and cast
aside,
He holds her as if he'll never let go,
As if she had been there with him a long time
ago.
Suddenly she wakes from her dream,
Once more facing the cold bitter world,
Once again feeling hollow and empty without
him.
She can no longer see the clear blue sky,
No longer feel his arms around her,
No longer smile.
She ducks away into the shadows once more,
As she had done so many times before

I can't stand the fact that I'm thinking of
you,
At least not after all that you've put me
through,

But I can no longer fight back the tears.

Someone replaced you, this much is true,
Because of how far apart we grew.

I stare you at the dark clouded night sky,
I close my eyes as the tears run down my
face,
And I just can't help but question myself
why,
Why you left me alone here,
When everyday without you is filled with
nothing but fear,
I lowered my defenses and opened up to you,
And in return you broke my heart,
But I still didn't want to part,
Now I'm alone again without you in this
shallow empty world,
And no one will ever fill the hole you left
in my heart,
No one will ever make this hollow empty
