So, Zach left two days ago. He's really happy where he's at right now, despite being away from me. From what he tells me, the barracks rooms are like hotel rooms, with maids and plasma televisions that get 60+ channels-in English. He says that the Okinawan countryside looks a little bit like the Pacific coast, around Southern Caifornia. He'll send me pictures once he gets internet connection, and I'll try to post them.
I'm doing good myself. I've gotten a lot of housework done, rearranged my storage closet, and cleaned up. All in the name of keeping busy ^_^. I start spring semester next week, and I'm going to try and see if I can't just maintain my 4.0 GPA that I got last semester. I have some more difficult classes, but I should be just fine.
So, I'm a happy Elly, right now. Today has been a good day. In a few minutes my parents are going to be over here for a visit, to make sure I'm doing alright. I'm looking forward to that.
