February is a very sad month for me and definately the rest of my family, the 26 marks the day that my grandfather or nonno in Italian termonology died. He was the only one in the world that I felt really understood me because he was really just like me. Today at school I had to hold my head down and try not to cry when I heard the song "Dance With My Father" by Luthor Vandross in a music assignment. After that I really needed to express my emotions in fact, I'm crying right now.
When I was just a newborn child you helped teach me to walk
When I was just a one-year-old you helped me learn to talk
And when I turned three, you always played played with me
And always said this little rhyme to me

When I turned four years old you helped me clean my bruises
When I turned five you showed me all wine's nifty little uses
And when I turned six, you always helped me fix
All my old toys and said that little rhyme to me

When I turned seven you showed me how to squash bugs with my feet

Now it's two years later, and I still remember then
And know that you'll never be able to teach me, a new thing ever again
But I play my piano, letting notes wander free
