for once i can see the truth, my eyes can see through it all, slowly, i'm making progress, improvements from what i've learned, and yet still i walk in this storm, i know i should leave it, walk in silence but sometimes you just can't so here's a new one, it's called into the storm
The truth in your hearts fails to shine now
I don't even remember the look on your face
Or what your face looks like for that matter
Maybe this is for the better
Because I can't stand to see you anyways
So why is it so hard to walk away?
Well for the time being it's not
I could walk forever in this storm
Because the rain promises to wash you from my skin
To wash you from my mind
It promises to cleanse you from my lips forever

Because the taste of your lips still lingers here
It's been poisoning me for too long
