The sky cried tears of agony and shame for the passing of the bleak and dreary day. Yet, I trudged on. What more was I supposed to do. I needed to get home. So, I kept walking. With every step came another puddle which devoured my shoes and filled them with ice water that squished every stepped that I made. The howling wind grasped my umbrella and almost snapped it like a twig. A car sped by nearly missing the huge puddle that would've bathed me in cold muddy rain water that collected on the side of the road...squish...squish...squish...squish
The harder the rain fell, the more I envisioned my destination, HOME. I couldn't wait until I was there and before I knew it, I was. School was okay and the rain made it an interesting day. But one thing is for certain, it sux to not have a car! stare
