My story nontitle and unfinished works on it when bored so deal with..:
Quickly racing to the tree near by, she spots a something shiny. Someone has dropped a gold coin. She continues to hunt with the bow and arrows she made. She sees a hart that would be delicious. She shoots… and misses.
After the hunt, Indicay raced to her home, where her step mom, dad, and two younger sisters waited with empty stomachs.
“Sorry, I could catch anything. But I found this gold coin,” She said.
“Arina Dran! We are not starving! We live in America! This is the twenty first century!” her father said aloud,” just get ready and go to school.”
“And take that hideous locket off!” said her step mom.
“Whatever.”
Archery is only a hobby, geez. Plus, my real mom gave this locket to me before she died I am not going to take it off. She thought. She ran upstairs to get ready for the 8th grade. She to changed into her normal clothes, wore her contacts over her golden yellow eyes, and she brushed her golden brown hair. She took her backpack and ran downstairs.
“Mom, can I have my some lunch money?”
“Sure, it’s on the counter honey,” said her mom quickly.
“Bye mom! Buy dad! See you after school!”
From there she rode her dark blue bike to DeMille Middle School. She looked around to see that no one she knew was here. Then she realized she was early, really early. Arina decided she might as well look around and memorize all of her classes. By 7:30 everybody was at school. At 8:00 school, started and she went to her advisement. Her advisement class was consisted of 31 people. After that was math class. During math class, and on the first day too, she had her eye a boy named Chester Kampz.
As Arina left Math class, she ran into Janice Byotch.
“Get out of my way, Dran!” Janice yelled as she shoved Arina into the brick wall.
“Sorry,” Arina said as she walked outside towards her Japanese class.
As she walked into class, she saw someone that looked very similar to her. He had golden eyes and golden brown eyes.
Arina went up to him and asked,” what’s your name?”
“I’m umm… Mac! Yes, I’m Mac,” he said.
“Hi, I’m Arina.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“Stop talking!” yelled her teacher.
“Sorry,” they both said.
He looks very familiar. Actually, he looks like me! Arina thought suspiciously. Her class continued and she went to break. She bought a Hot Cheeto’s bag and left to sit down. As she sat down she opened her bag and soon realized she was sitting next to Mac.
“Oh, hey what’s up?” she greeted.
“Nothing much,” Mac responded, except the fact you look exactly like me.
“You know we look so similar that we could be siblings,” she said chuckling a bit.
“I guess,” Mac said as the bell rang, “best get to class. I have science next. You?”
“I have science also! Looks like we’re in the same class.” She smiled at him and she ran off to her next class.
“Matte![Wait up]”
Arina met her science teacher and saw that Gabrielle was in her class. A long lost classmate from her old middle school. After class, she talked to her, just to say hi. She had lunch with her too. She bought a hamburger and a juice box to go along with it. After lunch, she left to language arts. On the way to language arts, she knew that her locket was missing!
“The first day of school and I lost my mom’s locket already!” she screamed aloud.
Everyone stared at her. She was embarrassed, and she raced along to her class. During class, she looks out the window and sees that Mac is going towards the infirmary. She also sees a dirty heart shaped locket. It was hers! So you stole it…Class was over at three. Mac. Pulled over Arina to the side and behind the tree.
“I want my locket back and I have a curfew to make, Mac!” she cried.
“Sorry but I need a favor from you,” he replied.
“Yes?”
“I want you to open the locket.”
“Absolutely not! Moreover, I have three reasons not to. 1. Its my and she told me to open it when I’m ready. 2. How do I know you aren’t gonna steal it again? 3. I cannot open it.”
“Well 1. You have the ability to open it now, 2. Why would I want to steal it its dirty? And 3. Just try to open it!”
“Good point… oh crap! I’m late!” she said as she took the locket, “We’ll do this tomorrow!” From there she ran to bike rack, put her helmet on, unlocked the lock, and rode home.
Ok, but the thing tomorrow might be to late. Mac thought.
“I’m home!” Arina said.
“Welcome back, honey,” said her mom, “Your father won’t be home until late, so I’m making dinner tonight.”
“Alright, I’m gonna get started on my homework,” Arina said as she ran upstairs to her room. It sucks that I have homework on the first day of school.
She put on her locket on. She opened her backpack and took out her binder. In her binder, there was a note. It read:
Dear Arina,
Meet me at the same tree tonight at midnight. Be there, it’s an emergency. Bring your mother’s locket.
-Mac
“He’s probably gonna be there so I might as well go,” she said to herself as she sighed.
She started on her homework and finished about half and hour later. At least it’s not much.
From there she just lay on her bed with her stereo on, carefully looking at the locket. I wonder what’s in here.
“Dinner’s ready!” yelled her mom upstairs.
“Alright!” Arina said.
“Tonight we have sushi!” said her mom victoriously.
“Why did you make sushi?”
“Because since you decided to take Japanese as an elective I made sushi!”
“O…k…” she said with a weird face, “Ikothashimashu! [Traditional saying before you eat in Japan.]” She ate dinner and finished by 5:30.
“I’m gonna go to the library ok?”
“Ok. Be back by 6:30.”
“ Alright.”
She rode her bike to the library. For some reason she felt that someone was behind her staring at her. She looked and there was Mac.
“Why are you following me?” she asked.
“I’m not following you! Its just coincidence, that’s all,” Mac said, “Follow me.”
“Whatever,” she responded as she followed Mac into the Teen section of the library.
Mac stopped at a wall near the restroom. This is it. I bet the locket fits perfectly in this hole.
“Let me see the locket,” Mac said.
Arina handed the locket to him.
“Why are we at a wall?” she asked.
“Because of this.” He put the locket into the hole and a door opened, “come on, let’s go.”
Arina nodded. And took the locket out of the whole. There was just a big tunnel as they went in deeper, they saw some books. It was a library.
“It’s the library of magic.”
“How do you know this stuff?”
“Mother.”
“My mother?”
“Yes. Ok now look for a book on dragons.”
“Do the librarians know about this place?”
“Yes they even put the little barcode on it.”
“Found a book! It says Dragon riders, Dragons, and Black Magic. By Mr. Howl. How ironic.”
“No that book is just full of lies.”
“Ok. How about his one The Rise of Dragons by Mr. Tenshi.”
“That’s the one. Let’s go check it out.”
“Ok. Am I still gonna meet you tonight?”
“Yes and bring the book, too”
“Alright”
Arina asked for a bag for the book. She went home to see that she made it just in time. She went upstairs and set her alarm to 12:00.
