"Have fun with that, love." the man replied, holding his hands up.
"I know I will." Catherine replied.
The man smiled at her, and held his hand out, "My name is Chaos. I'm a binetik prototype C. I was created a day before you to make sure that you would be okay."
Catherine furrowed her brow, "What?"
Chaos shook his head, "Don't you hate me?"
Catherine was now utterly confused. She was enraged at this man's strangeness and refusal to listen to her, but . . . he seemed so strange that he was familiar.
"I have to get to work." she muttered, brushing past him. She walked over to the patient, and began to get her tools out. She paused briefly to look back.
Returning to her work she sighed, relieved.
He was gone.
