Food VS Textiles+Halloween
Nothing interesting has really happened. The week has been eaten up mostly by school, and school, as everyone knows, is repetitive and boring; The history teacher turns late every time, our second English teacher is in a bad mood, Ryan gets a detention, Johnny should have got millions, but he is ‘special’ (stupid) and gets away with it and Jade annoys the world.

I had my last food technology lesson on Thursday. I am now on textiles, which is probably going to be sort of boring. I like food tech because there is no planning, as everyone else hated technology because they had spent the first 5 weeks planning, leaving only 2 left, which is a bit pointless. It is sort of like practicing for an exam-the exam itself can take less than 10 minutes, but the practicing can take ages. Food technology you just talk about the method and ingredients. The bits I don’t like are the nutrition bits. We all (I think) know that a chocolate cake is bad for you and fruit is good, we don’t need to be told this. Overall, food technology is rewarding when you get to eat the products and they taste good, when they don’t it’s a laugh, so it doesn’t matter to me.
Textiles is slightly different. I basically know that is going to turn out terrible, which isn’t so good when it takes ages to do. I am more likely to get homework and it’s a much longer project. I haven’t a clue what to so with it when it is finished, as it seems a shame to throw it into the bin. I could give it to someone, but who want some rubbishy but of fabric? Perhaps you could tell me…Then again, I doubt it.

The Halloween event was interesting, although I shamefully ignored it after I got the first item from probing. I have been keeping track of the stories, but to be honest with you I’m not that interested in the wondering around towns collecting candy. I basically ignore it in real life too, no one came trick and treating in our road, and I don’t want to knock on people doors and demand for sweets. Also, did you know it is illegal? Demanding money with menaces. Anyway, I think it is slightly stupid knocking on some ones door and expecting them to pile the sweets or money into your hands. Then again, if people are prepared to give them away, then why not?

That is my short entry, until next week I would love to hear from you! Leave a comment, PM me, wait for me at the 10,000,000 thread, do whatever!
