Yes, I would just like to take this moment to relay some facts. It appears that Gaia has been infultraited by Aliens. One Mother Ship and her eleven sons... I had the liberties of speaking with son number 11 and son number 05. I managed to have my question answered by 11, and I got to be scanned by number 05 heart .
Here are my findings:
Apparently, Jack, the Gaian spirit of Halloween, may actually be an Alien Pumpkin... One such that was lost by 05 and landed on Earth. That would explain the funny shoes. o_o!
05 asked us if we'd seen a pumpkin around Gaia. He said he had wanted to squish the pumpkin to make pumpkin pie! gonk I hope this does not happen to Jack!
Also, apparently Lanzer is made of Chocolate, Diamonds and... Cheese. He would make an admirable Fondue type of cuisine. xO As well as Grombies, which the aliens would prefer to eat.
The Aliens are also looking for Ron Bruise... and they're trying to find Gaia HQ. o_o; We gave them the appropriate addresses, I assume. xO

Just a picture of Ron Bruise's house. Perhaps people have ritualistic rites performed there, every night. I haven't checked in a while. Inside his house, it's overrun with couches. o o; Pink ones. It's hard to move around.
Triangles are very important, as they can impress the Aliens, when they come about. xO It's slightly tricky to coordinate them, but I did manage to form the bottom of a triangle for Barton 5 001919. Later 11 came by and they say that he did like our triangle. I had left by then, but came running back when I heard 11 was there. When I got there, I actually got to ask him a question! ^ ^
11 has a reputation of being a Flamer, because he seems to hate all humans with a passion. But he doesn't mind brain-eating Zombies. xO heart Apparently, he cares so little about humans, that even their opinions of him and his own reputation among us does not concern him. I still think he likes being the designated Alien Flamer, though. 3nodding
I do not know how, or when it came to be, but 19 is a very important number for the aliens. They seem to respond well to it, and frequently they will visit places in towns which have the number 19 in the address.
Well, tonight I managed to stumble upon 05 who had a lovely conversation with the mass of us. I had missed the Q&A session, but then 05 had asked us some questions. This is when I learned about Jack's potentially alien heritage. Earlier, while waiting for another Gaian to ask a question, though, 05 went around to scan us...
I was scanned by 05 heart ! Ah yes, and as it seems, 05 watches Monty Python and the Holy Grail. xD The last question it asked involved the airspeed velocity of an unladen swollow. Several of us asked, "What do you mean? African or European? Dx" in a finale fit of anxious fear, 05 pronounced, "AFRICAN OR EUROPEAN? I... I.... I DON'T KNOW THAT!" and then promptly, 05 flew off. ^ ^ People in the next town saw him, and proceeded to chase... it was ammusing to watch. xD
So far, this concludes my encounters with the aliens... I want to meet Mother, sometime... I've only *just* missed her a few times... and apparently she's HUGE. o_o; I want to meet her.... >__> Someday...!

Earlier today, 10/27/06, I was chilling around in 1919 and we were granted the honorable visit of alien_ufo_02 heart
Apparently, 02 is the youngest of the bunch. ^ ^ His distant grasp of the English language is so cute! Just as he'd shown up, I had gotten out material to start making a cake, so I decided to ask him what flavor it should be...
He requested that I make a Water-Meat Cake! At first I wasn't sure what this meant (even though other people obviously figured it out really quick. Dx I hadn't been paying attention to what was being said). But then I did figure it out. "Water-Meat" meant Fish. xP So! I decided to *make* 02 a Fish Cake!
I PM'ed the image to him, though my PM hasn't been openned yet. xO
I also had PM'ed 05, earlier today, to thank him for scannin' me. xO Still haven't gotten a reply from 02 or 05, but I can wait.
Still haven't met Mother.
Oh yeah, apparently Ron Bruise had visited 1919, while I was there, but because the Newsletter had told everyone that Ron Bruise liked to go to 1919, EVERYONE and their mother went there to go see him. He was swamped by hordes of people and ended up having to leave. Dx I dunno if he ever came back. See, Gaia, you cannot publicly announce these appearances... You just have to let us find them by accident, if you don't want anyone trampled by little black blobs for the next five minutes. >_o;

It seems some of my facts were off. gonk That's what I get for not conducting a thourough research. I do not know exactly how many son's Mother had, but there was also a number 12, in their midst.
Seems 09 is still missing. Mother had said he was last seen in the Letter Galaxy, which I think actually is an epitat for the "Forums," themselves... Well, what is a galaxy but billions of stars? What is a forum but billions of letters? See the connection?
But wait... Does this mean...? Yes it DOES! I GOT TO SPEAK WITH MOTHER! heart
I must relay the entire course of the journey, though. I did not record it all prior, because I was lazy, so some facts are now muddled. Dx But I have screencaps!
In order to meet Mother, I had to know where she most likely would venture. The place where more and more Aliens were known to frequent became the Fountain in area 1919. So it is there that I spent many hours, listening and chatting with other Gaians. Some names became familiar to me and I had a nice time reciting lyrics to any MP3 that happened to be playing on my Media Player list...
While having spent almost an entire day at the fountain, suddenly a shadow was cast over all of us...
It was Mother! For the first time I saw her in person! I was so surprised at seeing her! With me, other people were also surprised and excited to see her...!
Now, the aliens had a known tendency to ask and answer questions from Gaians, whenever they came to visit (though this was not a mandatory thing). I was ready to ask a question of Mother, if only a single one... However, more and more people began gathering around the fountain, and despite our efforts to calm their excitement, some people just refused to, quite frankly, Shut Up! Some of them began saying rude things as well. But in a mob of people, a thing like that is just likely to happen. xP
However, Mother did proceed to *Scan* us all... And though I did not quite understand the importance of this, I did realize that it was something special to behold.
I had one strategy when meeting with the aliens. To keep myself from blending in with the crowds, I sat at the top of the fountain, just a bit disorganized from the rest of the mobs, so that my speech bubble could be seen clearly enough and so that it would remain distinguished. However, for this encounter, such a technique did not come to use... Since there were too many users at the fountain and no one would remain quiet, Mother closed her scanning doors and then flew off, without saying a single word. ;__; I was very disappointed...
So for the next three days, I visited 1919 and spent hour after hour trying to chance a random encounter with Mother... She did come a second time, but again, all she did was scan us and then she left, when there were too many people around.
Despite my efforts to remain as polite as I could, Mother did not stay to speak.
In desperation, when I noticed that she was online later that same night, I PM'ed her, asking her to visit 1919, while the fountain had cleared up. To this day, Mother still has not even openned my PM. Neither has 05. Ah well. xp To be noticed, one requires skill.
However... the final day did finally come for me. After hours of wishing and hoping and watching, I found myself signing on to Gaia, one night and I happened to notice that Mother was online. Thinking almost little of it (since that never garenteed that she would come) I decided to wait by the fountain, just to see who was there and what was going on. Hopefully Mother would come... and then, an hour or so later... She did!
This time, she did not scan us, and only her shadow greeted us. Holding my breath, I trotted to the top of the fountain and sat down, patiently. And thus, Mother began to speak. She said she would answer questions. I was rivited and ready...
Every time a question was asked, I waited until Mother had answered, before producing the simple phrase: "Mother May I Ask?" in order to gain her attention. I used the same phrase over and over, so that she would realize the same person was asking... I capitalized every letter to stand out, and the coined phrase "Mother May I" was also a strategy. I waited, watching every question become answered.
But my connection began to slow. Mother was not choosing me, and then Towns froze...! I signed off, deleted my cache and signed back on with all the anxious patience of a snail crossing a busy street.
I came back again, sat in my same spot and changed my message. I told Mother that I had been waiting for three days to ask her one question... I asked over and over and over, for her to choose me...
Then, she said she would only answer three more questions.
I was utterly determined to be noticed! So I continued repeating my request, over and over, keeping my speechbubble openned so that she could easily see my name: Fyrsiel.
After all my efforts.... Mine was the second to last question to be answered... heart
The best part? Unlike 11, Mother spelled my name right. xd heart heart
My question was this: "Mother, your stay with us has been long. You must have gained an idea about us Gaians. What is one adjective you would use, to describe we Gaians as a whole?"
sweatdrop Of course I wish I could have phrased the question better, but at the moment, my fingers were shakey and I could barely keep from making typos...! It was an abstract question, yes, but I do believe Mother answered it, in quite a meaningful way...
My parasol points to my question... and what's even more neat, is that many Gaians liked my question as well. ^ ^;; That was cool.
Now Mother took quite a bit of time in answering my question. I think I might have stumped her a bit, because it is difficult to describe such a thing as Gaia in one simple word... But stay with me, now, because it is possible.
Mother uses the term "Diversity." I believe that is the adjective. Mother believes that Gaia is Diverse. And that is her adjective. It might be farfetch'd but if she was not entirely sure of an answer, then I think Diversity works perfectly for Gaia. This is a very diverse community and that's what makes Gaia so great.
Mother then mentioned the point of view that her Sons share about Gaia. Polar opposites, but what can one expect? Gaia has this effect on many beings.
After all of this was said and done, I thanked Mother and began to relax for the first time. My very goal had been completed... One final question, Mother answered, and then she told us thus:
It was time for Mother to leave for the night. And the Halloween event was going to start within the next day or so. But just before Mother left, though she did not scan us, she did... give us all a great big "scan-hug!" heart
xD I was totally Scan-Hugged by Mother... I was so very honored...
So Mother left, and starry-eyed, I wandered the map, thrilled that I had finally accomplished my goals. I got to see the aliens. I got to speak with the aliens. I got to ask them questions. I was scanned by Mother and 05. It was all just downright cool!
Now, I never had a personal interview, like some lucky Gaians have had... but I still enjoy the fact that after all my time waiting and hoping, I did get to ask one question of Mother. ^ ^ heart
Halloween has come and gone. I am an Alien now. A true child to Mother. : D I've collected all the Halloween items, save for the tin hat. gonk Even Nomed, my mule, had gained himself a cow bell by tipping cows.
xd xd xd Can you imagine, Nomed tipping cows? *hahahahaha* Well, now he has a cowbell to show for it. I also have the Jack'd Hat. I actually don't like the hat, but everyone else does. gonk So hopefully that thing will be good for inflation...

Having said and done all of this, I close this Journal entry, until I may decide to add to it later, or look back on it for memory's sake. This Halloween was fun, despite how disatisfied many Gaians are of it. xp I have loved all the events that I've been a part of, on Gaia. And I've got pleanty of Zurg to keep me satisfied, incase the drinks ever leave the stores.
And what of this COW Code, that everyone's been talking of? There are many unanswered questions... so one must simply wait, to see what the Admins will pull out of their hats next. 3nodding
