Thunders like galloping hooves moved through the ground, through the air, through the empty voids of her quiet existence. Her eyes opening slowly like the gates to paradise surely would and will the day we die. Her eyes shimmering in blue with the moonlight that found its way through the crystal clear window. Distant was her beauty, untouched by man and so by the ideals of blessed and divine books. The purest form of life had awakened.
He is so sure of his quest, every step like a war hammer smashing a path before him. The ground he walked on brightened up by his heroic presence. Every man and animal that crossed his path would fear his sword and know his words. “I am here for her.” And it clang through the land with truth, their hearts would soon be one.
She still silent on her white silk sheets, did not see nor feel the shifting time as the moon slowly danced along the sky. A man so close, to finish his quest but one final obstacle would stop him on his path. Falling to his knees his sword flying through the air until it made its last dive in to the deep. The water covered the cold blade together with his hopes and ideals. Never would he think that the most ancient life form would block the path for his undying love.
She looked out the window, seeing the sea and ships vastly covering her horizon. A saddened smile on her lips, as she knew that she would forever wait for him. Heroic his heart, and true the tears down his cheek. They would forever hope, theirs souls always bound.
But it would never to be… thanks to this ancient thing known… as the sea.
