Why is it when I look in your eyes I see a sign of hope?
Why is it when I see who you are I still fall for your smile?
Your laugh, your accents, and all in between...
You help me laugh, you help me live, you help me see light in life.
I know you're not the only one, as do you.
I know I may not be the one.
If I could only be...if I could only be...
I may be happy.
But it may not be so, seeing who you are.
It would be not thought of well.
Until then, friends we are, friends we will be.
I'll stare at you from afar, just wishing you were mine.
Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm wishfully thinking.
But I can still hope and wait.

I will say this before I depart:
Thank for everything you have shown me.
May the future years be the same as these last few days,
These last two weeks have been.
